Where it all began...
In 1959, Jorma (Norm) Pietila emigrated to Australia from Finland. In his early years in Australia he worked on the Ghan railway, based in Williams Creek, SA.
In the early 60’s he moved to Melbourne and started work on many housing developments and commercial sites, building sewer mains and storm water drains, establishing his very own business ‘Norm’s Drainage’.
